Part of my ‘Album Art Re-Imagined’ series in which I reimagine album cover designs from a wide range of musicians. Many of the designs are created as personal challenges, but I had personal contact with the band with this one and as a result, features authorised usage of band photography as well as being used in official merchandise.
Inspired by the '80s Synthpop' music of the album, a colour pallette of vibrant green, pink and blue was chosen. Continuing into the track reimaginings, this restriction brought a level of consistency and order to the designs.
